FDI - Chilula

The Chilula were a sedentary hunter/gatherer tribe located just inland along Redwood Creek. They were closely related to and allied with the Hupa and Whilcut. They lost their territories as a result of the gold rush and many were later massacred by the Lassik. The few survivors absorbed into the Hupa and other cultures.
