Monoecious;
perfect, small (1/4 inch), pinkish-white, and bell-shaped; occur in
small terminal clusters, appearing in early summer. Fruit round, white, waxy,
and berry-like, up to 1/2 inch in diameter, often 3 to 5 per cluster;
last well into winter. Inedible and commonly considered TOXIC.
